Spring is finally here, and with it come the season’s newest trends. Five trends are featured from five of the best venues in the Detroit Metro, proving once again that fashion doesn’t have to become a victim of the poor economy. Bold prints in spring colors or pastels with retro silhouettes, safari influence with unusual animal prints, color blocking done with elegance, tribal influence used on feminine silhouettes and bold oranges and citrus shades are just a few trends that are hitting stores this spring.

Walking into Stella’s is like taking in a breath of fresh air. Linda Isrow, the owner of the shop intended it to be that way. “I wanted people to walk in and be able to see from front to back of the store, and not feel crowded.” That doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot to see. Everything is displayed within easy reach and the store is set up to maximize the customer’s viewing. Styles are fun, flirty and on trend. In particular, this amorous dress, a tribal inspired yellow and green print, is perfect for spring.
